The B&L Ranch is more than 60 acres of land to us, it is our home. Lamasco Texas may be a little bitty town but we love it! Whether we are planting new trees in our fruit orchard or cutting wood for the fireplace – throwing fish feed to our catfish or hauling in a large bass – tearing up the pasture on the 4-wheeler or cutting hay on the tractor; we love our lifestyle.

Shonee, our little Buffalo heifer, entered our lives in November 2008. We had always desired to raise a buffalo; after all they once roamed this area freely, and I surprised Louella with Shonee. We were certainly forewarned by all; they’ll tear-up your fences, however, Shonee has been a welcomed addition and brought allot of laughter into our lives as we have watched her play.
